It all began when I was around three years old. That was the time I was just learning to read and write. I loved when my mother would read to me. I would always ask her to read to me—all the time. It soon became annoying, I am sure, as my mother worked full-time, and still cooked, cleaned, and maintained the house. She came up with a genius plan, to buy time by having me write or circle the words I did not know, so that she could read and explain them to me later. That became our little dance, until I stopped dancing. I became an independent reader, soon after. That process guided me into early reading and writing.
That moment in time, became the trajectory that guided me on my life path—my journey. Every aspect of my life from home, school, college, and career, has been charted through my growth in writing. I can recall each book and piece of writing, by the moment in time I read or wrote the selection. To be honest, I don’t think I
Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
